Ape uzate de la rafinăria Vega, deversate în pârâul Dâmbu: Garda de Mediu a dat o amendă de 50.000 de lei

Technological, household, and rainwater from Vega refinery were discharged into Dâmbu stream due to sewer overflow during heavy rainfall in Ploiești. Authorities reported the incident, and the National Environmental Guard assessed the situation, confirming a discharge of approximately 60 cubic meters of wastewater. The refinery was fined 50,000 lei but stated the discharge was controlled to prevent flooding in nearby areas. They emphasized their rapid response to protect the community and maintain environmental safety, with ongoing monitoring and coordination with authorities.
