Apare o legumă nouă în grădinile românilor. Stațiunea de Cercetare Buzău va vinde din primăvară răsaduri de castraveți mexicani - Economica.net
The Buzau Research and Development Station for Vegetable Growing has been cultivating the Mexican cucumber "Victor" for its medicinal properties. This unique vegetable resembles a watermelon, is grape-sized, and has a taste similar to cucumber with lemon. Although it was officially registered in 2024, interest among producers remains low. The station sells seedlings each spring at a price comparable to tomato seedlings. The Mexican cucumber is rich in nutrients, including fiber, vitamin C, and antioxidants, and was acclimatized in Romania starting in 2022.
