Apa Serv S.A. was fined 30,000 lei due to repeated water supply interruptions affecting several communities in Neamț County. The issues have persisted for nearly three months, impacting residents in Târgu-Neamț and five surrounding communes. The Consumer Protection Authority noted that users are entitled to a 30% discount on their bills if water supply does not meet contractual standards. The interruptions began in August, linked to drought and pipeline failures. A new pipeline project has faced legal challenges, and recent funding requests for temporary solutions were denied by the Ministry of Development.
