Apa de la robinet se scumpește pentru a doua oară în această vară în București
The General Council of Bucharest has approved a new increase in drinking water tariffs, raising costs by 0.85 lei per cubic meter. This marks the second price hike this summer, with the new rate reaching 8.83 lei per cubic meter. Mayor Ciprian Ciucu estimates that the average monthly impact on families will be around 28 lei. The additional funds will be allocated for investments in water and sewage infrastructure, covering 221 kilometers of networks. Despite the increase, Bucharest remains among the cities with the lowest water tariffs in the country.
