The water supply in Pitești and surrounding areas has high manganese levels due to low water levels in Lake Budeasa. Authorities are working on solutions to improve water quality by controlled discharges from Lakes Vâlcele and Vidraru. The Public Health Directorate is testing water samples to determine potability and will advise the public based on results. Currently, there are no restrictions on water consumption.
