The interim Minister of Defense, Radu Miruță, reported a 2 cm rise in the Danube near the Cernavodă nuclear plant, ensuring its continued operation. This increase follows a military operation aimed at stabilizing the river's flow. Miruță highlighted that the operation resulted in a net gain of 4 cm, providing an additional two days of functionality for the plant. He also mentioned the successful removal of a rock near the Danube, which involved 180 kg of explosives, improving navigation and future dredging efforts.
