Anunțul lui Nicușor Dan după o întâlnire cu Giorgia Meloni pe tema chestiunii care divizează UE

Romania and Italy are advocating for increased EU budget allocations for agriculture and regional development during negotiations for the 2028-2034 budget. Nicușor Dan met with Giorgia Meloni in Brussels, emphasizing four key priorities: sufficient resources, safeguarding cohesion and agriculture, fair contributions from member states, and no budget cuts. EU leaders aim to reach an agreement on the nearly €2 trillion budget by Christmas, amidst divisions among member states. The proposal from Ireland, which includes significant budget cuts, has faced criticism, with various factions expressing dissatisfaction. The negotiations will continue under the leadership of Antonio Costa, with a special meeting planned for late November.
