CNAIR announced that the TollRo application will transition to its final version on October 1, 2026, requiring transport operators to create new accounts and re-register their vehicles. The system, which applies to vehicles over 3.5 tons, will charge fees based on distance, vehicle weight, and road type. Meanwhile, transporters protested in Arad against the system's implementation, citing technical issues and demanding a delay in penalties until the system is functional. The Association of Goods Distribution Companies is also calling for a postponement of sanctions until March 2027, highlighting ongoing technical problems with TollRo.
