The Public Service of Asset Management in Sebeș announced an outdoor disinfection event on the evening of September 15, 2026, to combat mosquitoes. The operation will take place from 10 PM to 1 AM using Solfac Trio EC 140 NF, a biodegradable and non-toxic substance. Residents living within 20 meters of the street are advised to keep windows closed during this time. Vulnerable individuals, including children and the elderly, should avoid direct contact with the sprayed substance. Beekeepers are also urged to protect their hives. The event may be rescheduled in case of bad weather.
