The excise cut translates to approximately 0.56 lei per liter, potentially saving drivers around 34 lei for a full tank of 50 liters. The new excise rate will be 2,243.43 lei per 1,000 liters during this period. However, the measure is temporary and will be reassessed bi-weekly based on market conditions, with no guarantee of price stability after August 31.
