Anularea alegerilor prezidențiale: Parchetul General confirmă că a început urmărirea penală ”in rem”, după 600 de plângeri primite

The General Prosecutor's Office has initiated a criminal investigation regarding the annulment of the presidential elections after receiving over 600 complaints. These complaints, filed by the Association for Freedom and Social Equality (ALES), allege various offenses including the formation of an organized criminal group and abuse of office. The investigation is focused on the facts rather than individuals, as part of a procedural requirement. ALES has also filed a separate complaint against prosecutors and staff for alleged misconduct. The annulment of the elections was confirmed by the Constitutional Court due to issues related to campaign financing and social media manipulation.
