Jonah Herscu has been appointed as the new head coach of Romania's men's national basketball team, succeeding Mihai Silvășan. Herscu brings 17 years of professional experience from the NBA and G League, currently serving as an assistant coach for the Chicago Bulls. He has previously held various coaching roles, including video assistant for the Los Angeles Lakers and head coach for the Rip City Remix in the G League, leading them to their first playoff appearance. His debut with the national team will be on August 27 against Denmark.
