ANSVSA se alătură campaniei europene #NoBirdFlu privind gripa aviară

The National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority (ANSVSA) joins the #NoBirdFlu campaign aimed at preventing avian influenza among small farmers and bird keepers. The campaign emphasizes five biosecurity measures to protect poultry from the virus, especially during the high-risk season when migratory birds are present. Romania is one of ten countries targeted by this initiative, which focuses on educating small-scale farmers about the risks and prevention methods related to avian flu. Key recommendations include limiting access to poultry areas, regular cleaning and disinfection, and keeping different bird species separate to prevent disease transmission.
