The National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority (ANSVSA) is involved in a European Union-funded project worth 3 million euros aimed at enhancing the official control system and the capacity of the National Food Safety Agency (ANSA) in Moldova. This initiative is part of Moldova's efforts to meet EU requirements for accession. ANSVSA will share its expertise and best practices in food safety and veterinary health, contributing to Moldova's European path. The project is in its final stages before contract signing and will last up to 30 months, focusing on strengthening official controls and food safety policies. Romania's experience as an EU member will be a key asset in this collaboration.
