In July, ANSVSA conducted inspections at gas stations across Romania, resulting in 19 fines totaling over 130,000 lei and the suspension of one operator's activity. The inspections focused on food preparation and sales within gas stations, revealing several violations including lack of staff qualifications and inadequate facilities. A total of 18 warnings were issued, and 12 kilograms of pastry products were confiscated for neutralization. ANSVSA emphasized that gas station food units must adhere to the same standards as restaurants. Further inspections are planned nationwide.
