ANRMPSG confirmă: Cererea Lukoil Overseas de prelungire a acordului pentru perimetrul Trident din Marea Neagră este „în analiză spre competentă soluționare”

Lukoil Overseas has requested an extension of its oil concession agreement for natural gas exploration in the Trident perimeter in the Black Sea, currently under review by the National Authority for Mineral Resources. The company holds a majority stake in the project, developed with Romgaz, and has invested approximately $880 million since entering Romania in 2011. The concession is set to expire in October, and recent legislative changes may allow Romgaz to take over the license under certain conditions. Lukoil emphasizes that international sanctions have caused procedural delays but have not halted the project, with ongoing negotiations for the sale of its European assets expected to alleviate these issues.
