ANRMPSG a respins prelungirea cerută de Lukoil Overseas a acordului de concesiune a perimetrului Trident din Marea Neagră. Prima reacție a companiei deținută de gigantul petrolier
The Romanian state, through ANRMPSG, has decided not to extend the oil concession agreement for natural gas exploration in the Trident perimeter, held by Lukoil Overseas. This decision follows Lukoil's request for a three-year extension of the evaluation phase and a 15-year extension of the agreement's validity. Lukoil, which holds an 88% stake in the project, expressed regret over the decision but remains open to cooperation with Romanian authorities. The Trident project, located in Romania's exclusive economic zone, has not yet confirmed commercial gas reserves. Lukoil has invested over 700 million euros in exploration activities and emphasizes the project's potential contribution to Romania's energy security and economic development.
