ANRE records first two energy communities in national registry

The National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) has registered Romania's first two energy communities, marking a significant milestone in local energy participation. The Port Community Association is the first Renewable Energy Community, while Micasasa Coop from Sibiu County is the first Citizen Energy Community. This registration signifies the operational launch of the National Register of Energy Communities (RNCE), promoting citizen involvement in the energy market. ANRE encourages the formation of more energy communities to enhance local energy production and consumer engagement.
