The National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) has approved Transelectrica's investment plan for 2026-2035, focusing on accelerating interconnections with Hungary and Bulgaria. The plan includes 117 investment projects, with 25 new objectives aimed at modernizing the electrical network and increasing transport capacity. ANRE has set a 30-day deadline for Transelectrica to submit an acceleration program for unfinished projects, which will be monitored quarterly. The approval of this plan marks a shift from strategic goals to concrete investment portfolios, enhancing Romania's energy network and its integration into the European market.
