ANRE: Cei care reduc vountar consumul de energie electrică ar putea fi plătiți

The National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) has approved a new market mechanism allowing eligible consumers to be compensated for voluntarily reducing their electricity consumption. This flexibility in consumption is not limited to crisis situations and is entirely voluntary, enabling consumers to respond to market conditions. The mechanism aims to enhance the stability of the National Energy System by reducing demand during critical periods, thus lowering reliance on expensive balancing resources. Consumers can participate by submitting offers to reduce consumption, which are evaluated by Transelectrica based on economic efficiency. Successful participants are compensated accordingly.
