ANRE aprobă planul de investiții al Transelectrica

The National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) approved Transelectrica's investment plan for 2026-2035, emphasizing the need for accelerated interconnection projects with Hungary and Bulgaria. The plan includes 117 investment works aimed at modernizing the electricity transport network, increasing transport capacity, and enhancing digitalization. Romania's interconnection level has surpassed the EU target, but further improvements are necessary. ANRE requires Transelectrica to submit an acceleration program for unfinished projects, which will be monitored quarterly. The plan aligns with Romania's commitments to the European energy network and aims to create a more resilient national grid while integrating renewable energy sources.
