The Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority has granted the establishment authorization for the 160 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant in Câmpia Turzii, developed by Nova Power&Gas. This approval allows the project to move into the execution phase, with equipment installation already underway. The plant is expected to start partial operations by the end of this year and full capacity by 2027, addressing the current energy production shortfall in Romania. The estimated project cost is around 350 million euros, marking it as one of the largest private investments in energy infrastructure in the country. Nova Power&Gas is a fully private Romanian company focused on electricity and natural gas supply, contributing to the energy transition with significant investments in green energy.
