The National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) has approved new energy production and storage capacities totaling 593.465 MW, primarily for storage. Additionally, licenses for commercial operation of energy capacities totaling 239.2 MW have been granted, mainly for photovoltaic systems. The approvals include 66.247 MW of photovoltaic capacities and 394.568 MW of standalone storage. Furthermore, ANRE has licensed electricity and natural gas supply activities and established distribution systems for natural gas. A new methodology for analyzing costs and benefits of distributed energy sources has also been approved, aimed at facilitating renewable energy sharing within energy communities.
