The National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) has approved commercial exploitation licenses for over 325 MW of new energy capacities, including storage and renewable sources. ANRE's president emphasized the need for faster processes to enable these investments to start operating. Currently, there are projects totaling around 1,600 MW under review, but they lack connection certificates necessary for license issuance. ANRE is holding two regulatory committee meetings weekly to expedite license approvals for projects ready to deliver energy.
