ANPC controlează prețul carburanților în benzinării

The National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) in Romania is conducting checks on gas stations to monitor fuel price adjustments and commercial markups. This initiative follows recent price changes and aims to ensure compliance with legal limits on markups. ANPC will assess these practices over three months, with penalties for non-compliance. Additionally, operators are allowed only one price increase per day, which must occur before noon. The campaign coincides with a temporary reduction in excise duties on diesel, set to reach 25% in early September 2026, reflecting international price trends.
