The National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) conducted nationwide inspections, revealing recurring non-compliance issues in food service establishments. Inspectors issued 623 fines totaling over 2.9 million lei and over 500 warnings. Non-compliant products worth more than 220,000 lei were permanently removed from sale, while temporary removals exceeded 110,000 lei. Numerous hygiene violations were noted, including dirty kitchens and spoiled food. Additionally, recreational facilities were found to be poorly maintained, posing safety risks.
