The National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) suspended products worth over one million lei and imposed fines exceeding 4.8 million lei during inspections from September 28 to October 2. The ANPC reported issuing 804 warnings and permanently withdrawing non-compliant products valued at over 250,000 lei. Key issues included poor food block maintenance, quality degradation of plant-based products, and improper storage conditions for animal products. Additionally, there were concerns about the use of worn equipment and the presence of unidentifiable food items.
