ANP publică o cronologie a atacului cibernetic. Comunicațiile au fost reluate

The National Administration of Penitentiaries (ANP) reported a massive cyber attack that disrupted the IT systems of prisons across Romania. The attack began on July 28, 2026, and involved data encryption, leading to a complete isolation of all penitentiaries from the network. While critical databases remained unaffected, some other databases experienced partial damage. ANP is currently working with government cyber experts to restore systems and eliminate vulnerabilities. Investigations are ongoing, and a public update on the process will be provided.
