The National Agency for Employment (ANOFM) has authorized the first online agencies for placing foreign workers through the WorkinRomania.gov.ro platform. This digital tool, operational from August 6, 2026, aims to streamline administrative procedures for foreign citizens seeking employment in Romania. Employers can register online, agencies can request authorization, and employers can gain authorized status. The platform centralizes necessary documents and processes, ensuring transparency by automatically listing authorized agencies and employers. It also provides clear information on working conditions, salaries, accommodation, and rights, while allowing for reporting of abuses. This integrated digital system facilitates the management of key procedures for foreign citizens' access to the Romanian labor market.
