Anna Blinkova, recently granted French citizenship, is now the second French player in the WTA top 100 rankings. Born in Moscow and residing in Cannes, she speaks fluent French. Despite her achievements, she cannot represent France in the upcoming Billie Jean King Cup due to prior representation of Russia. Blinkova has previously won the Transylvania Open and has another singles title.
