Romania will experience a rapid weather change from high temperatures to storms and cooling in the next 24 hours. The National Meteorological Administration issued yellow alerts for heat and strong winds. On August 17, temperatures will reach 33-37 degrees in several regions, with the highest in the Western Plain. A yellow alert for extreme heat will be in effect from 10 AM to 9 PM, affecting multiple counties. Nighttime will bring wind intensification and heavy rain in the west. On Tuesday, temperatures will drop significantly, with a new yellow alert for wind and storms. However, some areas will still experience high temperatures of 35-36 degrees, particularly in the south and Bucharest.
