The National Meteorological Administration has issued a weather alert for moderate rainfall, thunderstorms, and wind intensification across the country starting Sunday. Rain will gradually spread from the west, affecting most regions, with significant precipitation expected in the southeast on Monday. Rainfall amounts may reach 15-20 liters per square meter, with isolated areas exceeding 30 liters. Mountain areas will experience a notable temperature drop, with mixed precipitation at higher altitudes, particularly in the Southern Carpathians. Wind gusts may reach 45-50 km/h in eastern and southeastern regions, and up to 70-90 km/h at high altitudes. The alert is valid until Tuesday, October 13, at 10 AM.
