Romania is facing sudden weather changes with yellow alerts for heavy rain, storms, and hail issued by ANM. The warnings are in effect for Wednesday and Thursday, particularly affecting mountainous areas and eastern Transylvania. On Wednesday, significant atmospheric instability is expected, leading to heavy downpours, thunderstorms, and strong winds, with possible hail. Rainfall amounts could reach 15-20 l/m², with localized areas exceeding 30-40 l/m². On Thursday, similar conditions will persist in eastern and southeastern Transylvania, northern Muntenia, and parts of the Carpathians, with expected rainfall and storm activity. ANM notes that instability may also occur in other regions.
