ANM: Cod roșu de caniculă în 7 județe. Temperaturile urcă până la 41 de grade

The National Meteorological Administration issued a red heat alert for seven counties in western Romania, with temperatures reaching up to 41 degrees Celsius until Friday. A persistent heatwave is expected across most of the country for three days, with temperatures in the western plains hitting 40-41 degrees. Tropical nights with minimums of 20-26 degrees will occur, while temperatures will gradually decrease over the weekend but remain above 36 degrees in the southwest. A yellow alert is in place for other regions, with thunderstorms expected midweek.
