The National Meteorological Administration has issued a Yellow Code warning for significant rainfall in southern Romania starting Monday, with additional alerts for cooling weather and snow at high altitudes. Rain will gradually spread across the country, particularly affecting the southeast on October 12, with expected precipitation of 15-20 l/m², locally exceeding 30 l/m². At altitudes above 1500 meters, rain will turn into sleet and snow. Wind gusts may reach 45-50 km/h in various regions, and up to 90 km/h in the high mountain areas. A second Yellow Code warning is also in effect for parts of Muntenia and the Carpathians, predicting similar rainfall amounts.
