The National Meteorological Administration has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain and storms in western Romania for Monday. The alert is effective from noon to 10 PM, predicting atmospheric instability with significant rainfall and wind gusts. Areas affected include Maramureș, Crișana, Banat, and parts of Transylvania. Rainfall amounts may reach 30-40 liters per square meter in some regions. Additionally, strong winds are expected in the Southern Carpathians and Apuseni Mountains, with gusts exceeding 90 km/h at higher altitudes. Overall, the weather will remain unstable with variable temperatures.
