The National Meteorological Administration forecasts above-normal temperatures across Romania for the next month, with significant rainfall deficits, especially in mountainous areas. In the first week, temperatures will be higher than usual in northern, central, and western regions, while the southeast will experience lower temperatures. From August 3 to 10, temperatures will remain elevated, particularly in the west, with a nationwide precipitation deficit. The trend continues from August 10 to 17, with above-normal temperatures and a lack of rainfall in the west and northwest. By the last week of August, temperatures will still be above average, but precipitation levels will approach normal across the country.
