Two cousins, aged 17 and 18, tragically died after their scooter was hit by a train in Harghita. They were riding without protective gear and the 18-year-old was unlicensed. Surveillance footage captured them approaching the railway moments before the accident. Local reports suggest the old scooter was too loud for them to hear the train's signals. Emergency services responded, but both were pronounced dead at the scene. The incident raises concerns about safety regulations for young riders, as helmets are mandatory and licenses are required for operating mopeds on public roads.
