Aniela Tudor secured Romania's only gold medal in artistic gymnastics at the European Championships in Zagreb, excelling in the junior vault competition. Her performances earned scores of 13.200 and 13.566, resulting in a winning average of 13.383 points. Daria Mironova took silver with 13.166 points, while Lilou Marliac won bronze with 13.133 points. The event runs from August 13 to 23, 2026, marking the first time Zagreb hosts this continental competition, which includes both senior and junior categories for men and women. Romania's delegation consists of 14 athletes across various categories.
