A 19-year-old Romanian was sentenced to nine years in prison for attempted murder and aggravated robbery of a Nepalese delivery worker. Two accomplices received prison sentences as well, with one getting 2 years and 10 months, and the other 2 years and 4 months suspended. The court ordered the aggressors to pay €25,000 in moral damages and over 113,000 lei in material damages to the victim and the hospital. The victim suffered severe injuries, resulting in neurological issues and inability to work. The ruling is not final and has been appealed.
