Since 2015, over 100,000 people have been diagnosed and treated, reaching the treatment goal. However, the target of a 65% reduction in hepatitis C-related mortality has not yet been met, though it may be achieved by 2030. Approximately 50,200 adults in England live with hepatitis C, with 84.6% diagnosed, just below the 90% target.
