Anghel Saligny' National Investment Programme extended until December 31, 2027

The Romanian Senate approved a proposal to extend the 'Anghel Saligny' National Investment Programme until the end of 2027, allowing more time for financing contracts. The programme, initiated by UDMR Senator Cseke Attila, includes 5,756 projects valued at over 66 billion lei. As of now, 1,159 contracts remain to be finalized, with many projects lacking necessary documentation. The extension aims to prevent loss of investments and align deadlines with practical realities, ensuring projects can be completed within the state's financial capabilities. The proposal will next be discussed by the Chamber of Deputies.
