Angelina Melnikova și alte două gimnaste din Rusia nu au primit viza de intrare în Croaţia pentru Campionatele Europene

World champion Angelina Melnikova and two other Russian gymnasts were denied entry visas to Croatia for the European Championships. The Russian gymnastics federation reported that nine delegation members were affected. Melnikova, Listunova, and Kalmikova were among those denied entry just two days before their scheduled departure. Seven gymnasts, including three boys, along with a coach and a doctor, also failed to obtain visas. The women's championships will take place from August 13-16, and the men's from August 19-23, serving as qualifiers for the World Championships. Reserve athletes received visas, but their skill level is lower. The Russian federation has filed complaints with international gymnastics bodies.
