Angela Merkel vine la București pe 1 septembrie 2026

Angela Merkel will visit Bucharest to present her memoirs 'FREEDOM. Memories 1954–2021' at two public events. The first event is a book signing at Humanitas bookstore, followed by a dialogue with Emil Hurezeanu at the Romanian Athenaeum. Merkel's memoirs reflect on political freedom and the importance of democracy. She served as Germany's Chancellor from 2005 to 2021, being the first woman in this role.
