The Reșița Emergency County Hospital faces a significant staff shortage despite recent investments. To address this, temporary contracts for medical staff are being utilized until government approval for vacant positions is obtained. The hospital manager emphasizes the need for more personnel, particularly nurses and support staff, to alleviate pressure on existing employees. A memorandum has been sent to the Ministry of Health requesting the unblocking of around 90 positions, although only a fraction may be approved. Temporary hires will be eligible for future permanent positions through competitive exams.
