Andy Burnham devine, luni, noul prim-ministru al Marii Britanii. Starmer părăsește Downing Street

Andy Burnham will officially become the Prime Minister of the UK on Monday, succeeding Keir Starmer after his resignation. Burnham, previously the mayor of Greater Manchester, was elected leader of the Labour Party last week. Starmer will inform King Charles III of his resignation before Burnham is invited to form a new government. Following his appointment, Burnham is expected to address the press and begin appointing cabinet ministers. Starmer's leadership faced criticism despite leading the party to a historic parliamentary majority in 2024.
