Andrew and Tristan Tate have been indicted in Romania on charges of human trafficking, with the case registered at the Bucharest Tribunal. They are currently detained in the U.S. facing extradition to the UK for multiple charges, including sexual offenses. Previously, they were also charged in Romania in 2022 for similar crimes, but procedural issues led to the case being sent back for review. The Tates left Romania for Florida in February 2025 after restrictions were lifted, reportedly under pressure from the Trump administration.
