The Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) has requested the introduction of a law to reduce the number of parliamentarians to 300, reflecting the will expressed by voters in a referendum. This proposal will be debated in parliamentary committees. Andrei Ohaci, the deputy mayor of Sector 2, emphasized that the expressed will of the people should not be ignored, criticizing the ruling coalition for disregarding the referendum results. He urged the PNL and USR to initiate state reform and support the reduction of parliamentarians as a step towards real change. AUR believes there are no excuses left for delaying this project, highlighting the need for accountability from political parties regarding their commitment to reform.
