ANCOM: Drepturi noi pentru utilizatorii platformelor online

Online platforms in the EU must provide free internal systems for users to contest content moderation decisions, as mandated by the EU Digital Services Act (DSA). Users can appeal through the platform's internal system, independent extrajudicial bodies, or courts. Solutions from extrajudicial bodies should be issued within 90 days, with a possible extension for complex cases. ANCOM oversees the implementation of DSA in Romania but cannot mediate individual disputes. Users can report platforms that fail to provide clear information on dispute resolution options.
