ANCOM anunță că regulamentul UE privind inteligenţa artificială trebuie pus în aplicare de România începând cu data de 2 august - Economica.net
The European AI Regulation will be implemented by EU member states, including Romania, starting August 2, 2026, with specific exceptions for high-risk AI systems. ANCOM is proposed as the national supervisory authority, alongside other designated authorities. These bodies are currently working on the national legislative framework to enforce the regulation, which includes market surveillance authorities and their responsibilities. Certain obligations for high-risk AI systems will come into effect later, with some prohibitions starting February 2, 2025. New categories of banned practices will apply from December 2, 2026, targeting AI systems that generate explicit content without consent.
